Pay employees multiple wage rates or have employees that work multiple roles? You can now enter multiple wage rates into Employee Management and leave all the math to us.

We want to make sure you and your team are accepting the right type of payment every time. So when someone tries to accept a cash payment for the first time, we’ll double-check with them that it’s accurate.

This update also includes minor bug fixes and performance improvements.

We update our apps regularly to make sure they’re at 100%, so we suggest turning on automatic updates on devices running Square Point of Sale.

Terrible Customer Service

Been using square for a few years and customer service is trash to say the best. My password I’ve had won’t log me in anymore and when I hit the recover password button I never get an email. Now I’ve tried to also make a separate account and it says incorrect password for an account that I’m simply trying to create. If you call their number for help you have to have a customer code which you acquire by LOGGING IN! Which I obviously can’t do to get a code. Without this code they refuse to put a real person to speak to on the line! Terrible company. Trash. Garbage. Will be switching.

Customer Service

I’ve been using Square for a very long time. In the past, all my reviews have been glowing. Not so much today. I called customer service to help with an issue with the gift cards. I did get my issue resolved, and the rep in the other end was helpful, once she understood my problem. BUT! The background noises were absolutely horrendous. At one point. I couldn’t tell if she was talking to me, or someone else was talking to me. One of the men in the background was so loud that I could tell the rep exactly what he was saying to the other customer. Not only is this VERY distracting, there is an issue of privacy. The rep told me she didn’t know how I was hearing the guy, as he was quite a distance from her. Believe me I HEARD THE GUY. There were also many other voices muddying our conversation. It just sounds very unprofessional and makes square sounds like they’re operating a “sweat shop”. Not good Square. Step up and get better headphones for your employees or put some kind of barrier between reps.

Ruined my business! Beware

I charged over 100k in 6 months with my startup wedding company. One of my clients disputed a $8,000.00 charge. 2 months after the my client had authorized the payment. After my client disputed the transaction Square will immediately take that money out of your bank account and freeze all of your business funding. I am now 3 weeks into a negative bank account. This is the most embarrassing business matter of my life. I will never use Square again. You can not talk to a human and only receive Robot answers when you email in to “support”. I am beyond upset. Square will also tell you that you’re stuck for up to 3 months while “they figure things out”.
Run as far as you can from this robot company. No accountability. No communication.
