USPS Mobile®

By United States Postal Service

Open iTunes to buy and download apps.

Access popular® tools on the go with the USPS Mobile® app. Use the USPS Tracking™ tool anywhere you go, calculate shipping prices (limitations apply), find a Post Office™ or an Approved Postal Provider™, look up a ZIP Code™, schedule pickups, hold your mail, scan labels (available on certain devices), and more..

Use the USPS Tracking™ tool to check the status of shipments sent using Priority Mail®, Priority Mail Express®, Certified Mail®, and certain other delivery services. You can give your shipments nicknames, save them in the app, and sign up for text alerts to easily keep tabs on your items.

Get easy access to My™ where you can register for a free account and automatically see all of your inbound USPS® packages without having to enter any tracking numbers. You can also schedule delivery alerts, request redelivery, and more.

Find USPS® Locations when you need to get to a Post Office™, Self-Service Kiosk (APC®) or collection box with an easy-to-filter locator. The USPS Mobile app uses your device’s GPS to show your closest options on a map, along with their Regular Hours, Special Hours and Last Collection Times, and provides mapped results with driving, walking, or transit directions.

Look up a ZIP Code™ for any U.S. address.

Schedule a free next-day pickup and have your Letter Carrier pick up Priority Mail®, Priority Mail Express®, Global Express Guaranteed®, or Merchandise Return Services shipments from your home or office during regular mail delivery.

Request Hold Mail Service while you’re away, and we’ll keep your mail at your local Post Office™ until you return or carrier will redelivery.

Scan the barcode on shipping labels with your phone’s camera (not available on iPad 1 and iPod Touch models without rear-facing cameras). The app recognizes the shipment and stores the label number, so you can stay on top of its status.

Damb!! Why did I do these last few updates including this last one!!??

Damb!! Why did I do these last few updates including this last one!!?? What was good & simple has become worse & worse with every update this past year!! What is consistent is that with every update we loose our saved tracking history! Sad!

I won't even cry fix it as we all already know you (who ever the heck the USPS programmers are) won't listen, nothing will change for the better (well, maybe in USPS eyes they do?!) & with every update (we have false hope) we'll continue to regret we did the update & likely continue at minimum to loose all or tracking history, etc, etc!!! Sad Sad Sad!!!

Fix the schedule a pick up

I used to like this app until
It recently updated. Now, instead of having my default address in for scheduling a pickup I have to enter it in every time! This can be very annoying when I schedule pick ups daily! It has a use your contacts option which you would think would help HOWEVER, you have to go back to your contacts for the every box, address, phone number, email address. What used to be a one step quick process is now a multi step headache! PLEASE change it back to where my information is saved in the app!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!

This update breaks "schedule a pickup"

Update broke pickup schedule function. Ok technically it's not broken but it's far more complicated than necessary. The previous version would let me save a default pickup location. In this one it needs to be manually specified each time. You can use an address book entry but this alone (if implemented well) would add one extra step. Unfortunately the way it's implemented here, I can't select just one entry to enter all required info; I have to go to the address book for address, then again for email, then again for phone. Really annoying!
