Update on my call to Southwest. I called and they said no one else has reported any Iphone problems. I INSISTED I speak with someone about it. They transferred me to a man who supposed knew about tech issues. He stated no one had reported any problems. I started to read him all the problematic reviews on this app review. He started to change his story and say they were working on one part of the problem. I read more reviews and said the app is now at 1 1/2 stars. By the time we were done he was telling me they had been fixing the problem "for a while... Over a month". From no problem to exactly what I was pointing to? Seems fishy to me. With no date on the fix of non displayed travel details.
App doesn't work anymore. For as much money as I spend could you please get you IT folks to figure out a simple app? I've got kids at the local highschool writing apps. Do you need some help? Latest problem: manage my travel: nothing displays. On an iphone 5S with the 7 software.
Used to work fine & now for some reason it stopped
I don't understand what happened, I don't remember doing an update recently but if there was one I might have & maybe that's the issue. It used to work fine (although it would be nice if you could set a default departure/return or "home" airport) but recently it's had problems. First it was forcing me to log in over & over again but now (even worse) I can't view my full itineraries. I click on manage my travel but although I can see basic info about my next flight, when I click on it, the itinerary never appears. It doesn't even appear to try to load it's just more or less a blank screen. This isn't a problem that began today, it's been a consistent issue for WEEKS & is completely annoying for someone who flies on SW at least twice a week. I've even tried deleting it & re-downloading. I sincerely hope this issue is being worked on.
Luv Southwest, app is terrible
For example, I can login, tap Manage My Travel, tap my upcoming flight, but tha My Travel page that appears is blank. I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling, fresh login, same issue its just broken. Using an iPhone 4S.
Other simple things that other airline apps do - because I cant click though under Manage Travel, I manually check flight status. After tedious dropdowns (couldnt it just default to the airport I am standing in as a starter??), I have the find the flight from the entire day of flights (instead if just showing me remaining flights for the day), I get the flighr status but the app does not remember the selection. If you switch to another app, then go back for a flight update, you have to search all over again.
How does something of such poor design get approved by Southwest? Someone not minding the store in their IT dept.
