Customer Reviews

Just what I wanted. Works great!!

I don't understand all of the negative reviews with this. I mean, sure I understand people are upset but I don't get why you just wouldn't use iCloud and back up your phone yourself like 99% of iPhone users. Anyway...

I love this app and the whole backup service in general. I use Carbonite to backup my iMac which is what I run my business on and with Carbonite, I can access all of those files anywhere. Literally anywhere! I can pull up all of the documents on my iPad and my MacBook with no problems. This is exactly what I hoped for and I am very pleased. I will continue to use Carbonite.

SHUT UP CRY BABIES!

To everyone complaining about the mobile backup here is some reality.
A. iPhone has a cloud. Back up to it.
B. you needed wifi to backup. I never used it! and neither should you.
C. Is it really that hard to back up your phone yourself??? Seriously. What are you backup that is so precious?! iTunes backs up your music. You have the cloud. And you can back up yourself by simply plugging into a computer without wifi. Wifi was too slow and you should have wifi OFF for security reasons anyway!

So in conclusion thank you carbonite for dropping this LAME mobile back up feature!

Removed only feature worth anything!

I was excited to see a new update for the app however when I opened it and saw that they were discontinuing their mobile iOS syncing feature I was shocked and saddened. This is been the only benefit of the app and a significant reason why use the service in general. It's nice to be able to backup your photos and videos to safe and secure location when you're away from your computer like on a trip for long periods of time. Now that this features has been removed I can't see the point in keeping the service and I really hope they rethink their decision and offer some solution for the future. Also very annoyed at the fact that there was no information disseminated to their clients, which I've been one of for almost 5 years now. Poor customer service and lack of thought when into this decision. Hastily done, I'm very disappointed.
