Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
How To Snowboard is the first application for iPhone and iPod Touch that allows you to learn or improve your skills in this wonderful sport: the snowboard!
The application is for people who wants to approach the snowboard world for the first time and for those who already practice this sport and want to improve their techniques!
How To Snowboard is the first application in contrast to the other in the app store that guides you in the true knowledge of the rules of the mountain, helping you pick the ideal equipment and step-by-step let you manage the basic techniques as the "dead leaf", garland, linked curve and so on!
Once you learned the basic techniques, our teachers from the UISP and the Italian Federation of Snowboard will teach you the tricks on the track and on the box such as the 180, 360, BS Boardslide 180 and even more!
The application has an attractive graphic design but at the same time is designed to facilitate the navigation itself. It is divided into 3 sections:
-Tips 'n Tricks: the main section is subdivided into "Basics" video with explanations and techniques to let you govern the snowboard and to let you discover the rules of the mountain; the other section is "Tips' n Tricks" and it is related to those who already have mastered the basics and want to learn the most famous tricks on track and on the box.
In addition to the video at normal speed there are the "Slow Motion" videos that allows you the slow speed version of the trick to let you study all movements perfectly!
-Weather: every snowboarder is "weather obsessed"! With HTS you can directly see your forecast based on location that you choose for your beautiful days on the mountains!
-Glossary: This section is composed of more than 50 entries, where you can learn the terms with appropriate explanations used by any snowboarder, not ever find yourself unprepared when pro snowboarder talks!
-NO IN APP-PURCHASE!
-Available in English and Italian language!
Terrible how to...
Not worth the 99 cents. There is no dialogue in the videos, the instructions are vaguely written, and the riders don't seem very fluent in their skills. I've been snowboarding for over 7 years now, if your looking for something to sharpen your skills look else where. Hope to see something a little better in the app store soon.
