More Advanced Than Gorilla 2

Worms explode themselves into gravestones when their health reaches 0. I've been playing Worms World Party since 2005 or 2006.

What's interesting is that Worms is inspired by Gorilla, a similar game in which you can't really move. It also requires you to type in numbers in the 'velocity' and 'angle' boxes. Your only weapons are the bananas, and you play as the gorillas.

But the inspired Worms game, special thanks to Andy Davidson, who recently returned to Team17, is much more advanced than Gorilla or Gorilla 2. You can move around, select different weapons, and has its own engine. Its physics is promising and has its own turn timer. You can fight on millions of unique generated landscapes and can even customize your own worms with hundreds or even thousands of different combinations.

Did I forget that it has a campaign mode and bonus missions? You can earn money from completing missions that you haven't completed. Spend what you just earned in the shop to buy more goods, weapons, missions, etc.

So after all the things considered, this game will be the one that you'll play occasionally. Worms don't die in the making of this game.

Bad Update

This update contains user tracking and slaps a button on the main screen for more advertising. Be sure to disable user tracking by going into the settings menu, then scrolling to Worms 2 Armageddon, then uncheck "Usage Sharing".
It also wiped out my game save data. It's the little things like this that make you lose faith in a company.

I understand why Team17 does this. It's to see how large of player base each game has, so they can invest resources according. It also brings up the fact that iPhone games are not as profitable, so they push ads to advertise their other games. Then again it brings up the question. Why do they want access to my Contacts? No feature in the game requires the frequent access to my contacts, not even multiplayer. So why do they want access to it in the first place? They also push ads even if you own the advertised product. The same can be applied to Worms 3 on iOS.

I died a little on the inside because of this update. By shoving ads down your throat, tracking each user and collecting their personal data from them, and by erasing their saved data for simply updating the game.

Lame facsimile of the PC version

First off, it just plain isn't worms: Armageddon. It has new weapons but, more importantly, some of my old favorite weapons have been taken away. (Bow and arrow, worm switch) The new napalm strike is pretty much useless and stupid. The interface is poorly designed and hard to use. There isn't as much variety as there was on the PC version. (Not as many gravestones to choose from etc. all the little details that make worms so unique are lacking.) If they wanted to change the game they shouldn't have named it worms Armageddon. They should have called it " worms Armageddon lame facsimile that we threw together to make a few bucks" not impressed.
