What's New in Version 1.5
- Support for the new iPhone 5 screen size.
- Many bug fixes including app refreshing to wrong day
New upgrade - many problems
This is one of my 3 favorite apps, but the new upgrade makes it a struggle to use. When trying to connect to links either from within stories or from additional stories at the bottom of each page, it either takes a very long time or it leaves a message, on a blank page, to try again. The app is crashing now quite often. While I'm very appreciative for your efforts to continually improve this app, it is quite frustrating to try and read linked stories or anything, for that matter, with the app crashing so often. Some of these problems had occurred before this latest upgrade, but they were few and far between. Now, one of these problems occurs most of the time. I do really enjoy reading this app every day. I would be very happy if you could fix as soon as possible! Thank you.
This is an amazing app! Probably the best feature of this app is the "Apps Gone Free" articles. I bet the 2 bucks that I spent to buy this app has probably saved me at least 30 bucks in the last 2 weeks that I have had the app.
I love all the articles keeping you up to date with all the technology updates to apple and other companies. Also, the organization of the app makes it a really easy UI. This app also helps you find other apps that may help you depending on what kind of product you are looking for and has plenty of app guides to help you use the apps that are a little more complicated.
Star system present but not being used.
My most recent experience w app reviews is the one that apple has included w every iPhone, the same one that everyone uses and likely the very one that you are using to read this review. I am familiar with using the 5 star system as a shortcut to determining whether or not others have found utility in an app. Strangely, this program includes a star system along with its written reviews but none the stars are "filled in" Instead, all the stars are dark silhouettes which leaves the user having to toggle over to the native Apple app reviews to see how a product is being rated. This is disappointing for a not-free product where the name of the app would lead the purchaser to assume that reviews by a wide audience are being included.
