And now for something truly Magical. Add a high-resolution camera to your iPad (or iPod touch)--wirelessly! Easily connects any two devices to send the camera from one to the other.
Simply start Camera for iPad on both devices, and they'll find each other. Your iPad shows what the iPhone's camera is seeing. Intuitive controls let you zoom with a pinch or rotate with a swipe. And just tap the button to take a high resolution photo that is saved onto your iPad.
Have an iPad or iPod touch with a camera? You can connect and use the higher resolution camera from an iPhone.
★★★ You Must install and run Camera for iPad on two devices, one of which must have a camera ★★★
★ WiFi & Bluetooth connections, with no extra setup at all for either one.
★ Live viewfinder shows what the camera is seeing.
★ Pictures are taken at the camera's full resolution and look gorgeous on the iPad!
★ Flash! Take pictures in the dark: your iPad or iPod touch can act as a remotely controlled "Flash" to illuminate the scene. (For best results, turn up the brightness on the iPad or iPod touch.)
★ "Mirror" mode on the iPad to view the video flipped--so you can use it as a mirror. (Note that photos aren't saved flipped.)
★ Makes a great remote preview when taking group photos!
★ Not just for the iPad! You can connect an iPhone to an iPod touch, or even connect one iPhone to another, and choose which is the sender and which is the receiver.
★ Requires two devices, one to send pictures and one to receive.
★ Requires iOS 4.3. iPhone 3GS and newer are all supported!

not what I hoped
Great concept but needs more development and testing before putting it into production. I was hoping to control iPhone A camera with iPhone B and to capture the camera A video/photos on camera B. Would be perfect for making natural wildlife images. The pros: the iPhones/cameras pair over bluetooth or wi-fi and you can designate which iPhone is in control. The controlling camera triggers photo/video start/stop on the other camera and streams to the controlling camera. The cons: The Headlight Software quits after the camera is triggered by the controlling device, so you have to restart the Headlight Software every time to use it on the controlled device. The second failure is that I was only able to make it save the photo/video the first time I used it. I’ve never been able to get it to save an image since then on either device. Headlight Software never replied to my email request for help after several weeks of waiting. I am using two iPhone 4s with iOS8.4.
This allows me to use the better camera of the iPhone and place it in a stable location, and view the potential picture from the larger screen of the iPad Mini. Much better quality photos while the iPhone is stable. Works as advertised, just be careful no to exceed 20 feet between devices and use WiFi only option for most reliable connection.
Video stream iPhone to iPad!
Does exactly what I want except I would love for ether device to allow the screen to sleep in order to save battery life or maintain a connection if one is locked as options. I got this app to have FaceTime over wireless / Bluetooth I hope it continues to improve as more people find themselves with extra apple iPhones and iPads.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
