Best audio pronunciation in a translator I've heard "seen"
I recently downloaded five free translators for my iPad. Although this one was not my favorite overall, it does boast the best audio of any of the translators that even have that feature. Some other apps' audio is basically just an American voice speaking foreign words. This app (I've tried it in several languages, including French and Dutch) actually pronounces words as they'd be pronounced in their native tongue. For example typing "Francois" in, the voice pronounces the 'c' as a hard syllable--making the correct entry "François" changes the pronunciation to the correct 's' sound. Impressive.
Other highlight of the app is the ability to send multiple translations to your email (both target and origin languages), rather than one at a time--the norm with translation apps.
Update Translator for new O.S iPhone update
After updating my iPhone to the new O.S from Apple, my translator fails by any simple translation attempts.
Msg I get: "network request failed, please try again later."
This was a great app translator on my trips to Spain and Italy and it came really handy.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!However, now I'm unable to use it because of the error I have been receiving. I will like your techs to fix this glitch. It's unfortunate to see this app to go to waste, if you don't get it fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm giving this app a 2 star because I can hardly get no more than one word from this App to translate a day.
From a good and useful App a few months ago to sh#%^*~£¥ App, now.
This app is amazing! It does what it says. However, i think they need to work on the asian language translation a little more. Im learning korean currently. When i wanted to translate 감 사 into english, it translated to Ackwoledgements. However, im 100% sure gamsa means thanks. So i put thanks and translated it to korean and it said 감 사. So as you can see, it needs a little help. But the app is very good. Just needs an improvement in translating asian languages.
