Not bad, but a little to dual
This game really isn't bad but the over all game play is a little dull. The voice acting is cheesy and doesn't hold your attention at all and really unneeded due to the fact that I have just skipped over all the audio and the game is still very simple to follow. The game play is as I said dull. The only real challenge is beating the enemies is with the controls you are given. The graphics are good I suppose under the circumstances. I gave four stars because it is really as good as other games of the same type and the ironman abilities are well done. The controls I would say are what make it difficult and at times frustrating when you have a hard time defeating something simply because the controls are clunky. But they are also pretty standard for most games of this type. Over all I think it's worth the price, especially if it's for children they will get more out of it. The sound effects were a bit nostalgic sounding. They reminded of the hold Transformers cartoons and GI Joe. This game doesn't really have good replay value too, but niether do most games like this.
Alright game, better for kids.
Remember when you were a kid and the big summer blockbuster came out? The first thing you did was run out and buy the game attached to it, only to find the game just kind of fizzled? That's what you're likely to find here.
This game is simple. The controls don't deliver any kind of precision but the game doesn't really require them. The graphics are great and the free roaming is a big plus. If I were a kid between the ages of 10 and maybe 13 I would've loved it. As an adult who uses his iPad to sneak a game in between work and the honey-do list I thought it was just okay. I'm a fan of game loft but I think it's fair to say this isn't their best work.
Still I have to say it was a fun play through. I still have about 900 points worth of trophies to collect. In fact if you're a fan of the game loft I've trophies this offers some easy pickings (although a couple appear to carry the promise of a challenge).
In short: this game is simple but fun. I would recommend it for kids and young teens. Adults may enjoy it but don't expect too much. Not gameloft's best game but a great accomplishment none the less. Three stars.
While it lasts
This game is surprisingly fun while it lasts, unfortunately it's rather short. Also the customization options don't seem very diverse/interesting and you can fully upgrade the suit half way through the game. The one-liners are cheesier than even regular comic book dialogue. Not too easy not too hard. Worth 10 bucks? Not unless you're a big iron man fan. Worth 6? Sure. 10 should at least include some end of game challenge missions, the ability to change iron man suits before normal levels and to have the suits have actual abilities instead of just aesthetic appeal. War machine should also have different combos/charge beams than iron man, it's currently too similar. It's a shame gameloft hasn't realized that cheaper games sell more copies than expensive ones.
