I have waited for an app to do this since the first app
This is the first time I've ever gone to the App Store to write a review for any app, without enticement. Key Ring is very well designed.
I have been an Apple user since 1989. I have been an iPhone and iPad user since each model came out. Needless to say, I'm in the cloud. I love Apple's devotion to a quality experience.
Key Ring is very similar. Not a lot of eye candy. Very basic. Blah for most. But, get into what this little baby does, simple stuff, and it becomes The solution for its purpose.
I'm not a follower. I'm very lazy. Smart. But, I like shortcuts.
I used to create very simple lists in Notes, data base apps, whatever I could figure out. They just were not user friendly.
Can't get my wife to really use Key Ring. She'll do little more than store our cards in Key Ring. That in itself is a blessing. I hate those darn store cards. Don't mind them marketing my buying habits. I just hate that ring full of crap. I always left it in the car, anyway.
She still uses the weekly flyers.
Not Me! I don't want to transpose sales or anything else.
Every week the flyers go from the mailbox to the trash now.
I get all my flyers in Key Ring. I click on an item in the flyer and it's added to any shopping list I've created in Key Ring.
5 minutes or less. Multiple grocery stores.
No paper. Nor all the rest of the costs and environmental damages we cause to get those trees into our houses.
So far, so good.
I recently downloaded this app and loaded in all my preferred customer cards. So far, This app has been beneficial in my visit to the grocery store. I'm about to travel so I am anticipating realizing the full benefit and features of this app.
I appreciate how I now have one repository to not only store info about my preferred customer cards but also take pictures of the cards and store in case I need to show them.
Sometimes loses card info (NOT GOOD!) or duplicates it & I end up w/ 2 of the same card. Really wish they would quit messing around with the app too. It's getting harder to read the card numbers when I open a card to show a retailer - they're really tiny now & I have to hit the stupid curved arrow button & rotate the phone to make them bigger. Why aren't they just taking up the full screen real estate at 1st? Make it simpler not more difficult if you're going to change it!
