What's New in Version 1.2
Beautiful. But CRASHES all the time
Look it's a good game. But you hardly get any money to pay for the outrageously priced upgrades.
Pros: really nice looking.
Innovative leveling system
Lots of loot, and nice amount of levels
Each level is repayable once beaten, helps with leveling!!!!!!
There is now a difficulty setting for easy. It's still pretty tough but much better. Challenge is good.
It's a buck
Game crashes and sends you to your home screen. A lot! More so since the update.
Very buggy graphics. Backgrounds flicker in and out.
Control stick is awkward at best. And frequently unresponsive. Even gets totally stuck.
Fix those critical issues. And you have a 5 star game hands down.
2 stars for now.
Inkvaders is currently far better than this. An update could change that entirely. We'll see?
PS running on iPod touch 3rd gen 32 gig. Ios4
Full shut down and restart will not help with the crashing problem. Or any other bugs.
In the top 5 best games in app store
Its not as hard as everyone says it is
1.you can jump to dodge bullets
2.you can upgrade your stats
3.aim for the head to kill faster
4.start shooting b4 you see enemies
5.jump over enemies (cars for ex.) if
you can't kill them in time.
With these tips and a LITTLE practice you should be able to beat all the levels.I don't think mine has ever crashed and the controls are great. The
only problem is that it takes a while to level up:( Other than that its a great game and I would suggest you buy it even if it was $4.99.
Solid Side Scrolling Shooter
Game is actually quite a lot of fun. I'm not usually a fan of 'doodle graphics, but they go quite well with the overall feel of the game. The gameplay itself is also quite good and the joystick makes this a bit easier, although keeping Rocket Boy from jumping around can be annoying sometimes.
Maybe in the next update, it would be nice to add some back story. Not like a full blown storyline or anything, but at least give us some info on what's going on.
Also it's kind of a hassle to have to tap on loot that the enemies drop; if possible it'd be nice to just run over the item to take it.
