Featured By Apple as "Generative Art App in 2010"
Technically speaking, Artree is a tree-generator. With a tap of your finger, Artree's sophisticated generative algorithm begins growing an amazingly beautiful living organism. Every tree has its own unique shape and life. No two trees are alike. Just relax, sit back and watch them coming through.
● IN PORTRAIT MODE, A TREE GROWS.
● IN LANDSCAPE MODE, THE FOREST COMES TO YOU.
● IF YOU DRAW A LINE, YOUR OWN UNIQUE TREE APPEARS. (It will be generated based on your line.)
Our life and nature are filled with a number of coincidences, and sometimes it makes breathtakingly beautiful moments. Clear your mind with this art & zen app. It is really relaxing, peaceful and original.
You can save the Artree image as 2048x2048, which is a perfect size for iPad wallpapers. Make unique and novel images for wallpapers, web designs, page layouts, or illustrations with Artree.

Another brilliant app from Hansol Huh
I am familiar with this developer's excellent drawing app and just downloaded TypeDraw to play with. It works as expected and is a lot of fun, plus it will be useful to me for creating text-shaped graphic elements for larger projects.
Hansol's touch interface is as good as I've found, in terms of responsiveness and a nicely dialed-in "silky" feedback. This is true for all three of his products that I have used to date. By this measure alone TypeDraw deserves five stars.
Perhaps a few features could be added such as being able to touch and quickly fill a box or other shape, but this would be more a nice-to-have than must-have in my opinion. What Hansol does best is enable the iPad touch screen as a usable interface for prototyping, design and light production.
Eternally excellent, temporarily crashy
ARTREE was one of the first apps I downloaded on my iPad 1 more than 3 years ago. Truly little has changed. The UI is exactly the same, which is good. I like it.
It remains an elegant, beautiful, meaningful, unique, generative art form that is also contemplative, mesmerizing, a map of love & life flowing and intertwining.
I use the app to relax, but there are so many reasons you might find to use ARTREE.
HOWEVER, I'll try to contact the developers but in case you are reding this, I also have experienced crashes frequently and on a routine basis. It seems to happen for no discernible reason. I was not editing the trees. I was just watching and admiring several different varieties of trees and backgrounds. Each time, the scene crashed. I really love this app and I hope it gets updated and that the iOS updating itself quiets down a bi..
I've been enjoying this app creating beautiful trees and forests!
