App is great! Customer service has gone down
I think the app is great! Been using seamless for years, but it seems the quality in customer service by phone has gone down. The phone cue was shorter (or no wait at all) so it seems they have hired more representatives, but getting problems solved seem to be a hassle now. Or seamless is just tired of taking a hit when a restaurant messes up. If a restaurant uses seamless/grubhub delivery service and they forget an item, you'll never get it delivered, so don't even think that's an option . All you will get is that item refunded, with nothing else offered for the inconvenience. At least that was my experience today after calling twice.
Love the app and the service!
The app is smooth, quick to maneuver and makes ordering so convenient. I haven't had any issues and I've been using seamless for months. I stick to the restaurants that I know give quick and great customer service. I'm happy with seamless but the only thing I wish they would improve on is being more accurate with the estimate time of delivery. Although I've never waited more than an hour I still feel like the timing is off.
Love the idea, functionality could be better
I use this app several times a week to order food. It's great to be able to save favorites and order with just a few taps. My wish is that I was able to start the order offline, which often happens in NYC with subways and poor reception. If I don't have perfect reception, I'll get strange error messages, saying the restaurant is closed, forgetting my personal info, etc. It won't reconnect automatically when the reception improves; I have to close the app and start over.
