Sherlock, The Game of Logic

Sherlock is the original game of logic puzzles, where you're presented with a series of clues that help you to determine the exact locations of all of the images in the puzzle. Supports puzzle sizes 4x4, 5x5 and 6x6, three different image sets and lots of options!
Each row of the puzzle contains images of the same type (faces, houses, numbers, fruit, street signs, letters). The game gives you JUST enough clues (presented graphically) to figure out where each image must be located in its row. Once you've eliminated the impossible (figured out where images can NOT be located), you'll know the truth!
Very addicting, this game can be learned quickly, and puzzles can be solved in just a few minutes each... if you're good enough!
What's New in Version 1.0.1
A couple of bug fixes.
Love the Kaser logic games, would love to see more on ios
I DLed Sherlock on my iPod touch as soon as I saw it was available. Having played the PC version, I knew it was a must have, and well suited for portable gaming. It took me no time at all to pay the $2.99 for full version with more puzzles than I'll ever be able to solve in my lifetime. ;)
When I purchased my iPad 2 recently, I also put Sherlock on it, and it is amazing to play it on x2 mode, since it's much easier to see everything. Like a previous commenter said, I was chagrined to see that it did not recognize that I had previously paid for the full version, however, I finally decided that paying the $2.99 a second time was worth it to get it on my iPad, and when I went through the motions in app to make the purchase, I was eventually told that I had already paid for the full version, and was able to unlock all the puzzles without paying a second time. It is not obvious within the app that this will happen, so it would be nice to have a note somewhere to inform those that would like to have it on multiple devices.
I would love to see more Kaser logic games on the iOS... You'd have sales from me in a heartbeat!
A family heirloom
This game has been in my family since the early 90's. I think my mother got it off a BBS board (pre-Internet) as Shareware. I believe she still has it on her laptop! (a newer version).
My brother, my mother; even my 82 year old grandmother has been playing this game for years!
This game is phenominal. The concept of how Sherlock works has never been recreated by anyone else (trust me, I've looked).
Don't be put off by the somewhat simple graphics or busy screen. This is a fantasic game, even if you don't usually play logic games.
The iPhone version even comes with an excellent Help section and a lot of new options.
I loved this game when it was shareware and was excited to find it for my iPod. One issue: Game crashes when I push the "help" button. It's harder to play on the iPod, but I can adjust for that. It's not the game's fault I don't have a bigger screen. And after working with the app, it's not TOO bad.
I had an issue with games not being saved, but after I purchased the upgrade, this is no longer a problem. So, I up graded from 2 to 4 stars. If the "help" issue is fixed, I'll upgrade to 5.
I also bought the CD for my laptop. My life may not be totally complete now, but I'm happier with Sherlock back in it.
I wonder if the makers of The incredible Machine have an app. Hmmm...
