What's New in Version 12.2.3
— Minor video tracking bugfix
This app is garbage. I rarely write reviews but felt compelled because this app is so awful. Nearly impossible to find what you're actually looking for. For example, you want to watch full game highlights, like probably every NFL fan in the world? Don't go to the logical place, the actual game matchup/recap because you'll only get single play highlights, so that you have to watch more videos and more ads. To actually find the full recap you have to go to 'More' then 'Videos' then scroll until you find your game highlights. Just one example of poor poor interface design, and it all comes down to trying to maximize ad revenue and squeeze every last dollar. Wish I could give this app zero stars.
Sometimes the video plays well (though I had to reboot my iPad when it got stuck in audio-only), sometimes it gets into a you-need-to-restore-your purchases loop that you can't get out of. It also lacks several very basic features of NFL Game Rewind. There is no way to replay a game without seeing the score first. It's just idiotic that there isn't a switch for that. If you follow an out-of-market team and want to watch the game as soon as it's available, well we'll just tell you the score first and spoil it for you. Thanks. Also, not obvious how to pause the playback and no way to skip forward/back a few seconds.
This app is awful. The concept is great. Allow fans that live out of market to view their favorite teams. I live out of the TV market of my favorite team, and cannot get direct tv for Sunday ticket (too much tree coverage for satellite) This app constantly crashes. It takes forever to get it to even start a game and then usually crashes while watching said game. On top of that the FIRST THING it shows you when you log in, is EVERY SCORE OF EVERY GAME. What's the point? I want to watch football and this app takes all of the suspense and fun out of that. $100 for this miserable product? I will be requesting a refund. This is the best app the NFL could come up with? Thanks for nothing.
