SEARCH & UNIT CONVERSIONS
Search for foods like "cooked salmon" or "egg whites" and perform unit conversions using natural language such as "tablespoons to 1/4 cup" or "cups in a gallon".
Nutrition data is provided by the USDA National SR27 Nutrient Database.
What's New in Version 5.3
This update adds a new row in the nutrition facts to change the serving size that replaces the grams button in the title bar. Tap the edit button in your Journal to move foods to a different day!
Literally a lifesaver
After a heart attack I really needed a good tool to determine the fat content of my diet. Foodle has a comprehensive, well tended and ever expanding database of nutrition info. It's easy to search and attractively presented. Its built in units conversion ability makes it simple to compare servings of like amounts of diverse foods. Best app for this purpose I could find, and I looked at a bunch.
Good app need more features
I love the detailed nutrient info, but I wish they had a search bar and easier to use journal where you can journal by meal and an automatic steps counter and add exercise otherwise this is a knockout app!
Great thorough info and good selection on quantities of each item (eg: apple 1 /2 cup, 1 small, etc). I noticed unsweetened almond milk is not listed or traditional rolled oats. Also, caffeine isn't transferring to Health app when "journal"-ing my coffee intake. Makes me wonder what other categories aren't being transferred accurately either.
