Check out OnAir Pro - http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/on-air-pro/id406042913?mt=8
OnAir pro will let you use a second IOS device to control the app on an iPad or iPhone running the same app.
On Air is a simple teleprompter app for iPad. We’ve created On Air because we needed a teleprompter app, and most of the options out there were too expensive or had too many bells and whistles. On Air will smoothly scroll your script, and store as many scripts as you need. Settings are saved with each script.
With On Air you can choose font color, font size, scroll speed, background color, and toggle a 3 second countdown.

Minor Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where scripts that were copy and pasted into the app were not saved.
Fixed a bug where app randomly crashed.
I dont normally spend time to write reviews but if there is one that peaks my interest or i feel is magnificent in its own right i give it its just due, and if its beyond comprehension or just flat out bad, im a give it just due as well. It aggravates me when apps are created with little conceptualization to be either user friendly or just plain functional. This app doesn't even merit a "Poor Man's" Version of Teleprompting. It just really that bad. You cant update the title, the timing and scrolling is not conducive to mimic that of Teleprompting. Just a horrible app. Whether the creators of this app choose to make some kind of vast improvements the fact that Apple approves an App like this says more to the politics and giving anyone a license to app than to make sure there are quality apps worth the money purchased. Just because this is Free doesn't mean that the quality in work deserves to be provided in a manner that says, "live with it" cause its free. Thats crap. Put some pride in what your creating, and the expectation that others are representing your creation on their ipads or iphones.
This is a horrible app and it just bugs me that its even graded with more than one star for what i just went through in trying to use. Free or Not. Since i don't have the power to grade it below one star, 1 star will have to do.
Has all the functionalities necessary for basic speech practice and presentation. Totally intuitive and easy to use. Was surprised to see negative reviews based on the inability of the app to save scripts. I have had no such problems. To experiment, I even totally closed the app and reopened it...my scripts were still there. One bug...in landscape mode the app stops scrolling before the last couple lines are displayed. No such problem in portrait mode. I was using a large font (92), but still...it would be good to fix this. Thank you Mark Richardson for a great app.
Update...April 18, 2012: Still like this app, but it hasn't been updated in almost one and one-half years. Still looking for some of the mentioned bugs to be fixed.
NOW, IT'S GREAT!
The other day, I rated it 2 stars because I liked everything about it except one "minor" flaw: it wouldn't save files! With the new update, my little song lyric is saved, and I now give it 5 STARS!
For the future, I have a couple of requests, though. Since we're using it for songs (some of which are slow), I would like to see a slower speed, and bolder, slightly more condensed fonts. Awesome job, Mark!
