What's New in Version 1.1.2p
-Fix for stability issues on iOS 4.x. Users of iOS 5.0 and greater do not need to update.
My high school students absolutely love this literature app. The only issue keeping it from earning five stars in my book is the fact that subtitles cannot be displayed in full screen mode. The videos make the story come to life. The summaries are a great pre-reading tool. One of my favorite features is the word highlighting. Students can click on Shakespearian words or phrases and have alternative words displayed to aid comprehension.
Again... Please work on getting the subtitles to show in full screen mode. This would drastically help your clients who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
Wonderful idea, lackluster execution
This is a great great great idea. And it works. The developers deserve a lot of credit for making this happen.
But. The performances are just so-so, lacking some necessary dramatic weight. And the worst technical problem: NO SUBTITLES IN FULL SCREEN MODE, MUST FIX OR THIS FAILS.
The Bard meets the digital age! Lovely app that serves as an educational tool, as well as pure entertainment! In-text notes, highlighter/ translator will be pure magic in the classroom! Most Excellent! More plays, PLEASE!! =]
