Description

♡ Sudoku Daily provides daily games at 16 difficulty levels. Novices and experienced players alike will enjoy our extensive feature set, tutorial, and advanced hint system. The more you play, the more you will enjoy Sudoku!

For unlimited puzzles, check out our paid Sudoku app, ♡ Sudoku.

Our multi-stage hint system starts with a gentle reminder to get you back on track, and works up to demonstrate the exact technique to use. Our hints ease those frustrating moments and teach you how to be a better player.

Features include:

- 16 difficulty levels, something for everyone
- Tutorial teaches you new techniques
- Advanced techniques at the higher levels, including X-Wings, sashimi fish, and coloring
- Choice of six color schemes
- Undo/redo
- Automatic or manual pencil marks
- Save your game while you try alternatives
- Highlighting helps you discover patterns
- Game clock; compares your time to other players
- Choice of digit styles, including Kanji and Hanzi

All games are true Sudoku, with symmetry and a single solution that can be discovered by logic alone. If you doubt that a puzzle can be solved by logic, simply have the hint system explain it to you step by step.

If you enjoy Sudoku daily, this is the app for you!

Customer Reviews

WOW!

I've never played sudoku but really wanted to know what it was about! I obtained this app. and quickly became a fan. The app is user friendly, easy to use and has no quirks. Now I'm doing several puzzles a day. This app compares your times to all other users who completed the puzzle by the time you completed it, so you have a good idea of where you stand on the sudoku playing field. Yes there does seem to be a competitive side... so you can channel your pencil warrior (just read a few of the other reviews). This app has HINTS, you can use this feature but will get a time penalty… so will increase your overall time. This app also has a pencil in feature but I don't use it so can't comment about it. I highly recommend this game and will definitely purchase the paid version. GOOD JOB ON THIS APP.

Great Teacher

This is a great app for learning how to play sudoku. The hints don't just automatically give you the answer; they prompt you to look in the correct place first and only give you the answer afterwards; it will also give you details about how exactly the answer was gotten.

I really like that all of one number will light up at a time; it makes it more visually attractive when trying to scan quickly.

The only thing I don't like is that you're only given one puzzle per day per level. There is a non-free app of this without this problem however.

Entertaining and challenging

I've played Sudoku mainly on NintendoDS, and I've played hundreds of games, so I thought I was pretty fast at solving the puzzles. But when I started using Sudoku Daily, I found that 50-75% of the users consistently solved a puzzle faster than me. It took some work to improve my skills to get into the top 20-25 percentile. I still have some work to do to get better, and this game is helping.

I don't play computer games that often, but this one is consistentlly entertaining for me.
