Fun futuristic TBS with RPG elements. Daily missions instead of a campaign mode gives you a free-style but directionless play experience. Primary objectives are easy enough for new players, with a tougher bonus challenge thrown into each mission to keep things interesting for veterans. The only thing that prevented a five star rating is the fact that you have to spend more money after you buy the game for in-game currency, a necessity unless you like scraping credits together for a minor upgrade for one of your hunters every other mission. Despite this major flaw, Hunters: Episode 1 is a lot of fun and it is sure to entertain both rookies and veterans of the TBS genre. Great bang for your 5 bucks.
Good game, challenging
The game has great potential. Make it easier to unlock new characters and make it a little easier to locate things in the menus and I would give it 5 stars.
I also have a idea for a game. I would call it Hunters: Liberation, it would have the same objectives as this would but it would be a first person shooter where you could move freely. THAT would be a good game.
Phenomenal 5 Stars!
I have loved TBS ever since I played FF Tactics. Uniwar was my fav iPhone app until I got this. They significantly reduced the app size by implementing the daily missions brief. I want to get my money's worth of Hunters 1 before I dl the sequel.
My only problem is the ads through advert only load like half the time. Which is annoying as I like using that feature to get new weapons and armor.
What I like the most about the game is how much thought went into it, Rodeo really hit the nail on the head with this one. It's a new take on an old favorite. Looking foreword to what they release next.
Keep up the good work guys!
