Paid Childrens App updated with FULL SCREEN VIDEO ADS!
My kids love the iBigToy apps so I bought several books including this compilation app. So my disappointment is through the roof because, not only did they update the app last year to have in-app banner ads that cover the actual text and characters, the latest update actually has VIDEO ADS!
NOBODY is going to continue using the app with these latest intrusive ads so why bother updating at all? If a dev doesn’t want to update then thats fine. But just leave the app alone for people who were previously happy with your company.
The stories have terrible English grammar and are read so slow that the children lose interest. The interactive parts are boring. The readers don't pronounce the words correctly and leave out some words. When the children touch the screen several voices speak all at once. This is the worst program I have ever downloaded! Don't Buy It!
Lost in Translation
I'm glad I previewed this before sharing with my kids. The writing needs some improvement. They refer to Mulan as he and she in the same paragraph, it's missing words, and hearing that "Mulan came to understand what the heck is going on" made me laugh. Unfortunately the bad translations to English continued in the other stories. (See the screen shots)
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
