Hate the app doesn't work

I have been with xfinity for 2 months. This app has not worked correctly the entire time. I have been logged off, errors out, and could not use this app to properly connect when needed to the main box. For the last 3 days I have not been able to arm/disarm my alarm, can not see my camera output, cannot change my thermostat. I have been logged off and error out. If I have an alarm at my house I will not be able to disarm from my app. I will not be able to see my cameras if it is a true alarm or false. I am pretty much out of luck trying to do anything with this app. Xfinity Custome service is no help at this point either. What's the point in having an app if you cannot use it??

Needs more thought

Cannot connect to cameras with the app 99% of the time. The app has very limited functionality. I agree that it would be nice to record video longer than a minuscule 15 seconds. That's only enough time to see the door closing or opening when a specific zone is tripped. I recommend the following: ability to rename a zone(s) using the app; the ability to customize my alarms e.g. "Mike's Bedtime Routine." People might appreciate the ability to turn on/off specific zones at specific times and the ability to do so with the push of one button would be awesome; ability to access more settings than allowed now would also be nice.

And if you don't believe me try their cable or internet service! We could have a service tech are our house every day to work on the digital service freezing up or the Internet Blast not streaming half the speed we pay for and we've paid for a phone for six months that has never even been turned on but the truth is I just got sick of their guys coming out and drilling holes in the side of my house without asking! Why do I put up with it? Because they have a monopoly on the services and they know it! What can you do? I am a home bound veteran and it's my only communication with life outside my front door. They won't do anything. I have tried.
