The Worst System Ever!!!
I had the Xfinity Security Home installed and it took them 7.5 hrs to do the work. The system does not work at ALL!! I had a system take over from my pervious service, so I could have a QUAD PLAY SYSTEM (umbrella effect).
1st: It's contracted out to Triwire. The Team on the installation were the most unprofessional people. They arrived 4hrs late to do job. They could not figure out how to install my cameras indoor/outdoor due to it being pre-wired. Once installed the cameras failed. By that it was 7:45pm. They decided since it was not working at night. They will come in the morning. They didn't ever come. I call the comcast service people to get fixed and still NO SOLUTION to fix it. To make a long short: I'm dropping the Comcast. I've been with them since 2006 a Loyal Customer. Also, the Apps has crashed.
Almost where it needs to be
Signing in takes entirely too long and takes away a lot from the core experience of using the apps which is otherwise great. I'm on Verizon let and have 25mbit xfinity Internet - there is no reason authentication should take as long as it does. Other than this and a few additional features missing that are accessible on the home portal, this app is well done. Please fix sign in / authentication performance.
I really like this app. I love being able to see inside my house when an alarm goes off or when I know the kids should be home. I like being able to set the alarm after I leave the house and change the temp on my thermostat when I am not home. The only issue l have is that sometimes it does not refresh the temp on the app. Other than that its great!!
