Do to a recent iOS update many users are unable to save photos. To fix this go to settings>Privacy>Photos and set Slit-Scan to "ON".

What's New in Version 1.1

There is no "box".
After spending a bit of time creating a "Rube Goldberg" approach to Slit Scan photography that was essentially free; I was quite thrilled to see and try this app. Within minutes, I was having a blast with it. The only drawback is the limited resolution of the new iPod (very dismal, to say the least), and the frame rate (also a limitation of the iPod). This is not an "Outside of the box" app, it is a "box removal" app.
You are your own limits.
If you are looking for a simple little app for taking pretty pictures then this app is not for you. But if you're creative and like photo experimentation you can't find a cooler app anywhere. You can spend hours of interesting exploration with this app, seriously.
What are you waiting for? Download now and let the fun begin!
This does take some neat photos, and it is worth checking out if not only because it's free, but because it's a cool concept.
Now, about that terrible resolution… Boy is it terrible. The photos are 480x639px out of an iPhone 4s, and on top of that they're super pixelated.
Also, this app writes exactly zero EXIF headers, so you'll never know anything about where you took them or when. Feels like the 20th century, but I wasn't aware this was a vintage style app.
I paid for the extras too, and it was still this bad.
