I really like the different approach to the hidden object game and the building of the antique shop. I don't like that if you buy another item from the same category it replaces the original item and you lose the money you paid for the first item. You should get both items or a refund for the first one that is replaced. Or at least a warning that you're about to waste your money. I tried to buy a second plant and it charged me full price and replaced my first plant so my first plant just disappeared. Same thing when I tried to add another shelving unit. I also don't like that the description of the items is not always what they are called in the US. But that's true in a lot of games.
Overall it's a fun game and I will buy if it's on sale for $2 or $3.
Pretty good for what it is
This game was not to my taste... I like my Hidden Object games to have more of an adventure puzzle approach. But I could appreciate that this was pretty good for what it is and rated it accordingly.
It's just hidden object scene after hidden object scene with mini games and shopping for variety. It could be better... The jigsaws were too easy, the find the differences were very dull, and the shopping and decorating options extremely limited (their aquarium decorating game is superior). The hidden object search itself was very nice. High quality graphics makes it pretty fun to search.
My other objection: The shop owners were creepily perfect. In a scary movie, they would turn out to be the serial killers!
Features tobacco focused games, not for kids
Inappropriate cigarette and tobacco features in games! Would not allow it for kids. Most smoking starts in adolescence, and it ruins too many lives.
Would be much better if iPad's zoom feature were available. Otherwise can't see or select many objects. Black bowling ball hidden in black shadow? I'm tired of games that use dark scenes to hide dark objects. Good games don't rely on this trick. This is a trick that results in an automatic low rating from me now, in hopes that others who don't respect such tactics will follow suit.
Too many pop up windows slow down game play way too much. The "Try again" pop-up is beyond annoying! I finally just use hints if the item isn't visible in a reasonable time. Hate it! I don't like using hints, but either that or delete the game!
Puzzles are OK and can be completed in reasonable times, this part is OK. I like jigsaw type puzzles.
