Cornell Lab Bird Q&A makes learning about birds fun. Find the answers to the questions you have about birds, and learn more about bird identification and behavior at the same time. Based on real questions asked of our experts, the app includes hundreds of common and not so common questions with easy to follow answers for birders and non-birders alike from The Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

Explore by category, or have the app choose a random Q&A for you. There are questions with answers in twelve categories including: Cool facts, Watching birds, Feeding birds, Bird songs, Behavior, Migration and more!

•A fact based quiz
•An image id quiz
•A sound id quiz
The sound and image id quizzes have three levels: novice, skilled and hotshot. The first fact based quiz has 45 questions in total, with each quiz serving 10 questions randomly. The sound and image id quizzes have thousands of possibilities.
The quizzes are optimized for learning. They allow you to make second and third choice and provide feedback even for wrong answers.

Error discovered: Under Cool Facts Where do American Goldfinces go? The caption under the picture ask how many feathers does THIS broad-billed have.
Excellent learning resource
I am a novice birder and I found the app very helpful. It makes great reading on the go. You can explore different topics, browse really nice images, listen to bird calls, or play the quizzes. I have learnt a lot with it in just a few days.
