Work with Vector Graphics
The library of 28 vector icons (600 in full version) and shapes gives you a full palette for designing a company logo or graphic for the web. You can also import vector artwork in EPS format or use the powerful Vector Editor to create shapes from scratch.
Materials, Textures, and Fills
You can give design elements any look you want in Art Text Lite. The collection of 40 materials (250 in full version) give objects a realistic metal, glass, or plastic look that can easily be customized using the super easy parameters or the advanced Material Editor (in full version only).
A texture is basically an image file that you can use to fill a shape or text, and Art Text Lite comes with 190 of them. The full version allows you to import your favorite images in widespread formats. This can be a great way to frame and add fun captions to beloved photos.
Art Text Lite can also give letters and objects a radial or linear gradient fill with up to three colors. Add a gradient, stroke, and shadow to text to get some striking typography.
Bend and Warp Text
Bring text to life using 20 adjustable vector transformations (full version contains 4 additional transformations based on Bezier splines). Wrap text around objects or just give it a unique look that stands out.
What's New in Version 2.4.6
Resolved the problem with files not opening through the Open Recent Files menu.
easy for beginner
We are getting married next month and doing pretty much everything ourselves. We are giving out wine glasses. So my printing project was to make a thankyou note shaped like a donut that fit around the stem of a wine glass. Specifically I needed to make the text print in a circle. Also, I should mention that I have really no expertise in this area of printing graphic design and page layout at all, though I'm pretty good with technology in general.
It took me just about an hour and a half, coming from absolutely no knowedge of the software, to get it right. It's trickier than you might think to not get the text upside down or backwards. In any case, I am working with a a mac mini bought in 2013 and had no problems with crashes or anything else. This is a very intuitive and easy to use app. It did what I needed it to do easily. And thank you and best of luck to the company that makes it.
I’m a graphic designer and use Photoshop often. Sometimes you need just a piece of headline type and you need it fast. This app fits that bill. I would have given it 5 stars but it’s kerning capabilities aren’t all that great. Maybe it was the font I was using? Otherwise, I highly recommend this app.
Good, stable, handy
easy to work with - simple - not fancy — serves the purpose for occassional use. i am not a graphic designer - but I am able use it for a variety of projects at home and at work
