Immersive and addictive
I discovered this one long after its release, but it has quickly become one of my favorite iPad games that I keep coming back to.
More successful for iPad than iPhone. Trying to quickly tap two blocks on the smaller iPhone screen often results in rapid changes of perspective. No such problems on the iPad, where the user interface is very intuitive and accurate.
Doesn't really look like anyone's still developing this, but here's a suggestion for a new game mode: Survival, which works like Blitz but you keep playing as long as you can keep the same combo going.
Boring concept, hard to see
I don't like it. First, sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between gray, light blue, and white blocks or between black and gray blocks, depending on the brightness of the background.
Secondly, the entire point of the game seems to be just to test accuracy of your fingers on the screen. It isn't like most matching games where you new to have things in a line. There's no strategy or planning ahead. You just try to rotate so you can see as many blocks of one color as possible and then try to tap them all quickly without accidentally tapping the wrong block. I made no strategy errors, just a few misinterpreted taps due to either timing (trying to tap during some animation) or fat fingers. Perhaps this is easier on an iPad's larger screen. But its still boring.
Mind reengaging fun!
Thanks Ambrosia for keeping me entertained, especially when I need to refocus my attention on one project or another. Today's additions are great, especially as I completed so much in version 1.0 and was kind of stuck after hitting 28 million in Arcade Hard. I've completed all the new achievements already, however I look forward to exploring some of them further. How much higher than 10 million can I get in Blitz, for example? Seeking new challenges, too. What do you recommend?
