Good, but some issues
I really enjoyed playing this game at first. I've had issues where my city seemed to have been lost but it was eventually recovered so while annoying, it wasn't a major issue.
My biggest complaint right now is that I seem to have maxed out the goals. For the longest time (as in a couple of months and I play at least once a day) I had a single goal that was really expensive to complete and it was the only one available. When I finally completed it, I had half a dozen or so to do, and then nothing. I'm not sure if there are any more goals for the game, but I'm not getting any and it becomes mundane without them. My second big complaint is that everything new to the game seems to be only purchasable with CityVille cash and there is no way within the game to earn cash. You have to pay real money for it. I wouldn't mind if you could earn it slowly, I understand setting it as a premium, but it's annoying that some things I can never get because I don't want to spend money on a free game. Also, now that the holidays are hitting again, I expected to see holiday related items and goals come about, but nothing has shown up. There were plenty last year. Again, maybe I've maxed it out like all the other goals, I may just have to stop playing if there is nothing more for me to work toward...
I am totally addicted to this game but I am frustrated over a few things that are blatantly meant to try to get you to buy energy. I understand that's the goal for Zynga but come on, let us play the game. I'm annoyed because you can get energy from friends. You are limited to how many friends you can have and to get more you must pay cash. There is no way to earn cash in-game. It must be purchased with real money. Ok, fine. Well, your friends can send you energy. Cool. Well, if you are like me and hoard your energy you are out of luck because the game limits how many energy packs you can use in a day that you receive from friends. That chaps my you know what. I have spent my money on this game but I'm not going to go broke just to build my virtual city. I will not spend another dime on this game. I suggest you remove that limit and I would suggest that as you level up your energy meter should increase. If Zynga weren't trying to rob me blind I might actually spend some money to get the cash only items. All in all its a super fun game but you are really limited on what you can do and be prepared to invest a lot of time waiting for your energy to come back unless you plan on paying big bucks.
Things I don't like so far.....
I've only started the game and am enjoying it so far.
One thing I don't like is how nearly every business that interests me costs real money.
Also, it's nearly impossible to get through the game without syncing it to your Facebook. I don't feel the need to have a Facebook though I love this game. When building certain businesses, it will sometimes require getting things from friends. If you don't have a Facebook, then it's nearly impossible to get the things you need for the business because honestly, who wants to add a stranger to their friends list? This typically results in having to play 24/7 to get as much money you can get in 1 days time so you can finish the building by paying. (and it's not cheap, either!)
Overall however, it is a fun game and I'm willing to play it for a little longer to see how I really feel about it.
