Description

The Pilates Classic DT app presents the classic Pilates series of exercises in the classic sequential order. This classic order has been designed to loosen up your muscles first before exercising them. These exercises were designed to be performed anywhere and now that they are available on the Mac you can reference these exercises anytime. This app contains all of the movies so that you do not need Internet access to view the movies.

This app has a Beginner's set and an Advanced set of the exercises. Each exercise has a video of Marian Tasker demonstrating the exercise along with his vocal instruction coaching you through the exercise as if you were taking his personal class in any of the many studios in which he teaches. There is also a separate text version of each exercise, with pictures, that explain how to perform each exercise.

You can select to view each video individually, or you can select to view the videos in sequence starting from the first video you select to see.

Not user friendly

It does not move from video to video without having to get off the floor and start from the main menu manually. I can't even customize a workout. Terrible app! This should be fixed.

Needs work even more than I do

Interface is clunky, videos don't seem to play the way indicated in the menu (one, The Hundred, just kept repeating) and application shut down by itself twice during my first workout. Beginners would be better off with an instructor who doesn't move so quickly -- his cueing is fine but depending on level of experience, you might have trouble keeping up with him. (His rollups are FAST.)

Really had higher hopes for this, since when I'm away on business, I really miss my Pilates class. Hope they fix it.

Great workout, shame it doesn't run properly

This would be a really nice workout to follow if the video didn't start repeating itself every two exercises like a broken record. When I have tried to go back and choose the next segment, the whole thing quits!
What a shame, I would really love to enjoy this -it's simple and good- let's hope that they fix it soon.
