The Japanese dragons are graceful, wise and not remotely blood-thirsty. Unlike European ones they don’t suffer from irresistible longing for gold and the odd princess. They are not being hunted by hordes of mad knights, quite the reverse, people honor and respect them. Enter the marvelous world of Oriental fairy-tales and get acquainted with one of these dragons.
The main goal of "Dragon’s Lore" is the removal of figures from a game field. Try to match pieces of the same colour by adding new cubes, this is the way to score points and earn game money. Various bonuses will help you to cope with tough levels and the dreaded timer.
"Dragon’s Lore" has several game modes. “Story” tells the tale of a quest of the dragon Kirin. You’ll gradually pass through levels with different tasks, compete with bosses and upgrade your hero. “Classic” and “Arcade” games give you a pack of levels in which you must remove a number of cubes in a very short time, or play without time limits. “Puzzle” mode forces you to think hard about the best solution for different riddles in this mode. “Infinity” mode allows you to play as long as you wish, set outstanding high-scores until there are no possible moves.
There’s even a hotseat mode for a chance to enjoy the game with your friends.
- 4 single player game modes
- Hotseat mode
- About 200 levels
- Story mode with a full-blooded plot and upgrade system
Dragon's Lore is amazingly awesome and shockingly like the computer based game Cubis.
Some have complained about the aiming and controls. The default controls are horrid BUT they CAN be changed in the settings area. I use the Controls 1 configuration which is just like the controls for Cubis. You simply aim and take you finger off the screen. Very very easy.
I will say it would be nice to have more levels I've beaten each mode several times now but the replay level is extremely high. If it had more levels I would give this a 5.
I have been looking for a game like this for ages, and here it is! If anyone remembers a great old game, which I played on my Palm, called Cubis, this is it! The gameplay is very similar and has lots of modes. The controls could use some fine tuning, but it still is really fun to play, and is well worth buying! Thank you so much! Looking forward to more updates in the future, especially more Puzzles!
Great game but....
I have always loved Cubis and was so excited to find this game. I do suggest fine tuning the controls though. I can't get the cubes to go down all sides. It's difficult to get the cubes into the corners. Also, would be nice if the cubes released with a tap of the cube and not the button. If you can get those changes made, this app would get five stars from me.
