What's New in Version 5.0
We’ve tweaked our music library scan to hoover up all your newly saved artists from Apple Music. ‘Scan your music library’ from the ‘More’ tab to unleash a torrent of new concerts!
Our design team’s eyes have been in a long-running stare-down with the look of ‘events from your artists’. It wasn’t pretty, but it is now: your upcoming plans now come with a full helping of image-y goodness.
Like a Sir David Attenborough of the software world we’ve been hard at work discovering new species of bug, but unlike the great naturalist we’ve been smashing them to smithereens.
We have some news. Our bus-and-bike-rider has passed on the great responsibility of writing these release notes to a bike-or-bus-and/or-train-rider. Rest assured that whatever happens with their commute we will have time to read through all your reviews every day, so if you like the app, please take a second to rate us. #ratersgonnarate
I'm loving this app so far, have already discovered upcoming shows in my area which I wouldn't have known about if I didn't have this app! Love that the dev states that they still ride the bus and read every review! I would love it if there was a genre search just to discover and support new artists. Thanks for listening! Really hoping for that. Also, an option to leave reviews on artists would be great as well. Otherwise this app is great.
So great, but spam notifications are awful
Songkick is wonderful and how I keep track of all the concerts I go to.
One request: please use the Facebook sharing functionality that's built into iOS. As it is I have to log into Facebook from the Songkick app, often multiple times, through the mobile site in order to share, even though I'm logged into my Facebook account on iOS. It's a hassle. Please make it as easy as sharing to Twitter!
Images too large
It seems there are two sizes to each event. The smaller one with the artist image on the right side is perfect but the large one is way too big and makes it so that only two events show up on my screen at a time. It would be nice to be able to see 4-5 events at a time without having to scroll. Using a 5s for reference.
