What's New in Version 4.7
NEW: track your favorite artists from Rdio! Go to Settings to scan your Rdio. We’ll import bands from your favorites and playlists.
Rdio has been our top-requested import method for some time now, so we hope you enjoy it. It might take us a while, but we do listen! So Jay/Bey/Madonna/Nicki/etc., if you want a TIDAL import, just holla.
I still ride the bus to work and I still read every single app review, so if you like the app, please take a second to rate us and make my morning commute.
This app is great!!
I'm so happy to have stumbled upon it. They have listed practically every artist (at least, I've found every artist I've searched for, and THAT is quite impressive) and haven't been wrong about any concert dates so far (which is also an accomplishment). The app runs very smoothly - NO LAGS 😍 - despite how much information must be stored in it. Its information is up-to-date, and the color scheme and over all set-up is appealing. It literally makes my eyes happy. It's the Google of musical artists and their concerts. You can follow your favorite artists - maybe even every artist - and choose to be notified when they announce a tour or concert. You can keep track of which concerts you plan to attend within the app, and can even buy tickets through the app itself.
This app is perfect for avid concert-goers. I'd recommend it to anyone. In fact, I do.
Great job! Keep it up, Songkick! 💛
Great way to keep track of concerts
I've been a Songkick fan for years now, and I've found their automated emails and music catalog scanning to be great for keeping up with concerts happening around me. I would have missed out on so many awesome shows without Songkick. Plus, they seem like a great group of people, to boot.
The app isn't flawless though. I wish there was a way to review and modify what artists it adds after doing a fresh scan of your catalog. Just because I listened to Bieber *one time* (by accident, I swear) doesn't mean I want a notification when he's in town. Similarly, I would really like an easier way to remove artists from your tracking list if you see a concert notification from a band you don't really care about. An iPhone 6 hi-res update to the app wouldn't hurt, either.
But these are quibbles and the app is overall pretty great. You should get it.
Best concert-finding app. Period.
Thanks to this beautifully designed app, I have been able to effortlessly keep track of all my favorite artists and enjoy concerts I wouldn't have otherwise known about.
I have tried other event tracking apps, but I like this one the best. It feels the most intuitive and it seems to send notifications more quickly than the other apps I've tried.
Also, the developer for this app seems to be very quick to respond to user feedback. He also reads every review for this app while commuting to work. So thank you Anonymous Developer for all your hard work and for building this wonderful app. Your work contributes to a deeper enjoyment of music. Thank you!!
