How on earth is this NOT part of OSX!?!?

Just an update from the review below. I've now been using Flycut for nearly a year and I still can't live without it. How something similar is not part of the operating system is beyond my understanding. Download it now. It has saved the day for me on many occasions.

As a software developer I've tried lots of clipboard managers. Hands down Flycut is the bomb. It's lightweight. Bug free (at least I haven't found any after the better part of a year). Syncs effortlessly via my Dropbox account so my clippings are available across computers. Love it.

It's missing support of non-text clippings but I really don't have much use for that.

Answer to my Prayers!!!!

For years, Illustrator has lacked the ability to paste unformatted text while InDesign has it built in. I have had to paste into a plain text editor, copy that text, then paste it into my Illustrator document. Frankly, this was a royal pain and irritated me because the functionality was just dangling in front of my face with InDesign. This product is a fantastic solution to my problem. I opted to set up an alternate hot key for pasting plain text (option-v) which is perfect and avoids conflicts with other standard pasting hot keys in Adobe apps as well as the OS. A special thanks to the developers on this one. You guys have created a really nice product.

Flycut is good, but lacks essential features found in paid alternatives

Flycut is a good program, and for free at that.

After using it for a while I longed for just a few more options.

For example, I use a password manager and every time I copy paste a password, it shows up in the Flycut menu - a bit of a security risk! There are a few inexpensive options on the app store that will let you exclude your password manager program.

I also found that I wanted to be able to have some "favorite" clips accessible via keyboard which Flycut doesn't do.

Beyond the simple limitations, it's been a handy stable program and paved the way for me to look into more powerful alternatives.
