The graphics are blocky and lo-res. Even worse, in many places, they're too dark to make out anything.
In some places in the storyline, the steps to take are laid out explicitly. In other places, you're left floundering with no idea where to go or what to do. It does not look as though I am going to be able to get to the church without a spoiler.
Navigating via the Unreal engine on an iPad leaves a lot to be desired, especially when crossing planks. Even worse, I have found two spots in the river where it is possible to get completely stuck and unable to move in any direction. Fortunately, when I quit the game and reloaded, it placed me on the riverbank in a spot where I could move again.
The game has a great atmosphere and an intriguing story. The female scarecrow from the beginning of the game is incredibly creepy until she speaks. The woman who did the voice acting conveys so much warmth and sympathy, and hints at so much sadness, that not even the glowing white eyes make her seem scary after she has spoken.
On the whole, it was a brave effort that could have been a good game if it had had better technical implementation. But as it is currently, it's more of an exercise in frustration.

If you just want to pass the time it is a good game ( that is if you have a charger) . Let my sibling play it said it was great. Though I got bored near the end. I was hoping I could go right to free roam since I have looked everywhere for such a game.
Now I gave it 5 stars cause there is no other game like it. I would love if they made something with animals. The graphics were good, few glitches. I personaly found it slightly creepy so +.
Now if you want a game to play a few hours great, in the long run? Afraid not. If you find it at all interesting, it is worth your time and if you buy it money. I got the paid for free on special offer so best of luck.
Controls ruin what could be a fantastic adventure
The movement control "button" is an oxymoron...should be named movement outta-control. If you don't approach an item or place from exactly the right angle you're up a creek, and getting TO that perfect angle is an exercise in martyrdom. After 20 mins trying to get to an angle to "pick-up" my first inventory item, I was frustrated, but still intrigued....another 20 mins in, and I was just annoyed.
WHY when so many games get point-and-click right, do these developers feel the need to have such ungainly controls?
Take away the buttons and just allow players to roam by using the great thing about touch screens! We touch, we move we touch we pick up.... All this control nonsense lost you an interested buyer. Too bad I'll never see the story unfold.
