ADD "change back to classic" option!
I made another review last night on the redesign and set up all I want is for is Mobil users to have a chance to change it back to classic like the computer users can! Can't you guys tell that A LOT of the Mobil users hate this new format/set up/re-design?! Now a lot of the Mobil users might like the new set up but for the ones that don't ADD THE CHANGE BACK TO CLASSIC OPTION! Until you add this option I'm pretty sure this app might lose A lot of its users but also might gain a lot but still ad this fudging option! This is my favorite app and I don't really want to leave it but I just might if we don't get this option
One other complaint I have is that my old notifications are getting mixed in with my new ones and when I read my new notifications They don't go away. They just stay there and I liked the fact in classic that after you read your notifications then it went to the "previously read" section.
I expected better
I've enjoyed Google Plus for as long as I've been using it. I've met new friends, been introduced to new ideas, and I have enjoyed this relatively safe social media sites. However this new update is absolutely horrid. The app is absolutely slow on mobile. The user interface is interesting, how ever there are still a few bugs to work out. For instance, there needs to be a performance increase, or as a widely suggested solution, revert back to the classic Google Plus. Now on the topic of the desktop version: it run almost perfect from my time of using it, however, for the sake of your large number of G+ users, keep hangouts. Removing this widely popular feature could put that number at risk. I hope you consider this review, along with the others like it. Thank you.
This update did nothing from 5.0
Still can't tag relevant people.
Still can't view posts from your circles or near me or popular or whatever. Only "Home".
Still can't check in to places.
Still can't post pictures or post anything while sending location as well.
Still no way to see if the communities you are in have any new posts.
You can't save photos or gifs or anything like that anymore. There's an option to view on the web but that never does anything.
And it's quite annoying when you have to constantly swipe over to see your communities because recommend is the first thing that comes up. It would be nice if the communities that you're in are the first thing to come up instead when touching the communities tab on the bottom.
A lot of things take you to a web portal when you click on them. What's the point of having an app when I could go on mobile Safari and do the same thing. At least there, I'm sure I could save photos and gifs and what not. In fact, yes. In the mobile web version, it has more functionality than this POS. Such as location check in.
If I can't think of any more I'll update it with the number of updates.
