Customer Reviews

This storyline was enjoyable but you must play it again to Fully understand what's happening. First of all the Worker if secrets can take The Deathless Immortality with the strange Blue Crystal in his right Hand. Don't understand? Well I know this Because at the end of the game you see him in his cell and his right hand has this blue crystal or amulet in his hand. It took me about 3 times finishing the game to finally understand why that scene was added, BUT I realized this last scene was connected to the scene when you Finally defeat High Lord Thane. Thane comes back when u open the WorkerOfSecrets chamber. And once you defeat thane the WorkerOfSecrets takes his Immortality. When he does take his immortality he uses his right hand, the same hand the crystal or amulet was in, and Blue beams of light explode everywhere, and this was the same color of the Crystal or amulet in the Last Scene.* Also I think that InfinityBlade has some connection to extremely moderne technology. This is because there are extremely hard contractions that would be simple if you had tech. And! One if the Bosses that guard the Life Taking thing uses Tech when he jumps into his mechanical Dog and the dog itself is mech because you see him Fixing it when you walk in.* ok I'm done Now* I hope this answered Some of your questions And sparked enthusiasm for the Next Infinity Blade.*P.S. In order to Understand any of this you must Finish the game at least once !!!!!

A great example of gaming on a mobile device

Infinity Blade II by far one of the best games you will find in the app store. I do not say this as a patron of many mobile games, but as a consumer of a large variety of console games. Infinity Blade II is a wonderful example of the gaming medium as a whole. It appeals to casual audience without alienating the more hardcore gamer. It has an enjoyable story, and a great combat system that integrates perfectly into the iDevice's medium. As an added bonus, the game is incredibly pretty to look at, but this comes at a price. I could not run the game on the most recent iPod Touch up to this game's point of release. I completely forgot about this game, until I had gotten an iPad. While browsing for a killer of time, I re-discovered this game and have not ran into any performance issues as of posting. I would say that is game is console-grade material, but this game transcends the need for any of that rabble, it works great because it was designed for a mobile device. Which is great, because I never have to put it down. If it were ported to console, it would loose it's allure, what makes it what it is. In conclusion, it is a must own for any human. No age barrier, so long as you have a device that can run it, I suggest you buy it at it's incredibly reasonable price point. You get more than you pay fore, much more.

Infinity Blade II is a must!

I'm not going to lie, this game IS repetitive and some may be a little skeptical about the repetitiveness of this title. But is that a bad thing? Not in the slightest! Repetitious as it is, oddly enough, works well for this game and is part of the core gameplay. Even one who doesn't enjoy routine, will still find each battle gratifying as he/she builds the character Siris' stats through a unique leveling system involving equipped weapons, armor and accessories with a gain limit, in order to topple greater foes. I'd played this title for a better part of a year, and I still play this one quite a bit, and I have all 3 titles. Great series, as each one has similar mechanics, each offering less or more than the other.

The only complaint I have is that of another reviewer in that there are times when the animation during the finishing scenes does not fit with the current weapon equipped, as most animations had a large sword in mind rather than an axe. And I must say it does look rather silly to "stab" a hammer through an enemy as if holding it like a rapier. That said, I have no major complaints and think this is a title nearly anyone can enjoy.

I give it 5 stars, because even with its minor shortcomings, it's still a great game at heart with superb mechanics and gorgeous graphics and should please most, rather than not.
