Good but could be better

I use MyCloud to backup 2 PCs at home and to share approximately 40,000 family pictures with my 5 children. Everything works great but would like to see 2 improvements: 1. I have categorized my pictures by decade; year; then date and event. There is no way to search all pictures by key word. 2. Right now I have to maintain my pictures in a separate share that is shared with my kids even though it is part of the data set saved by the backup s/w. There should be a way for me to drill down to my picture directory and share just the pictures without having to maintain a second complete copy of the pictures.

Updating my review

This app combined with myCloud is good. There are a couple things I wish were different with it as far as navigation, but I had previously rated 2 stars because I didn't think there was a way to see the status of an upload. Well, I was wrong, there is, and perhaps if I availed myself to the free "concierge service" they could help me with any remaining questions. I was able to get all data off 2 iPhones and I'm going to start on the MacBook Pro today.

Works but could be better

The hardware I had is WD my cloud, which works mostly fine with some issues.
I had difficulties to have thumbnails working on ipad/iphone, and the support does not really help on that. Even though I figured it out later. Another drawback is when creating safe point, the device is not accessible for a long period of time.

The app could be better. One thing I feel really inconvenient is that you can't save image to local ipad/iphone directly. It takes a lot of trouble if you want to save one image to use in other places.
