Welcome to the IRB Laws of the Game iPad Application. With this Application you can watch video examples and animations to build your understanding of how the IRB Laws of the Game are applied on the field of play. With 80 embedded videos, and over 200 more which can be viewed over the internet, this Application includes information on Laws 1 -22 of the IRB Laws of the Game, as well as Seven-a-side and Under 19 Variations. Additionally, 49 referee signals are detailed in words, pictures and video.
This app is a must-have for all coaches, referees, players and Rugby enthusiasts.
Note 1 – The IRB Laws App only shows current Law. Any Law amendment trials can be found at www.irblaws.com. Once trials e.g. “Crouch-Bind-Set” do become law, they will be shown in this app.
Note 2 - The IRB Laws applications contains over 80 videos, hence the file size is over 140 Mb so Wifi download is required and it may talke a while to download.

The IRB Laws app has been redesigned and features the most up to date laws for 2013.
A new interface improves the navigation of Laws, Variation and Referee Signals.
Videos now play in line with the description and can be viewed in full screen by rotating the phone.
You can now search for laws by name to navigate even quicker.
A Quiz has been added to test your knowledge of the laws.
Could be better
It's a good reference for the laws, but the quiz is terrible! There's not much point to it, since you can't actually see which questions you got wrong.
