Description

The companion app to LifeTopix for iOS.

NOTE: LifeTopix AirAccess requires LifeTopix on your iOS device to work. It does not store data on the Mac, but rather acts as a convenient remote interface to manage your LifeTopix data residing on your iOS device.

Makes it easy to view, add and edit the data on LifeTopix running on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch - with the ease of using a Mac.
The era of mobile computing is upon us. But great strides in the power of portable devices have not been matched by interface advances that allow users to take full advantage of these gains. In fact, as devices become smaller and more mobile, the ability to enter and manipulate information on those devices becomes an even greater challenge. This threatens to undermine the very usefulness of these marvelous little bundles of portability.

Enter AirAccess — a powerful and efficient desktop client that allows you to connect, wirelessly, from your Mac to LifeTopix running on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Needs improvement, great concept! Constructive feedback

I love what the iPhone app does. I love that the developer enhanced it and it really seems to integrate with iOS data. But when I try using AirAccess on my MacBook Pro…it connects and the data doesn't sync. And quite frankly, I'm just simply confused as to what AirAccess is supposed to do. In my opinion, it should simply mirror what is already in the device and changes to the data can and should be made on either device.

I also wish the User Interface (UI) were a little more minimalistic for ease of use. For example, I love the "Home" screen on the iOS version. I have a lot of confidence in this developer's ability to listen to user's feedback and make positive and swift changes. I took a chance by buying the app. And I realize the app wasn't too much. But I will stay loyal and continually provide feedback if I know the developer is listening and improvements are going to be made.

It’s great for what it does...

…which is to connect you to LifeTopix on your mobile device and allow for quicker entry of items. Sure, it’s limited in that it is not the LifeTopix app for Mac, but until they get that done, this is a good alternative.

Seriously Constrained

Conceptually you can see where the originator of this app was going, but it simply doesn't get near there because of the constraints. Having to have at least 2 devices powered up and running simultaneously for input to occur on the mac side (AirAccess) ridiculously limits its functionality.

The LifeTopix app is real nice.

Love the concept, but when a similar app is developed w/o these chains (AirAccess), i'm gone.
