Quirky and interesting
I get a kick out of checking in once or twice a day to see what my little "parallel me" has been building. He/she builds roads and structures parallel to the places that you go in the real world. What's not cool about that? I feel like the previous reviewers either didn't get the point or just took it too seriously. It's not meant to be a game and if you thought it was, you didn't read the description. The 8-bit graphics and old school music make the 80s kid that still resides within very happy! Love the quirky intro that plays when you start the game for the first time. If your taste has always been a little on the weird side (like mine!) you just might get a kick out of this app too.
Not a Game
If you're into checking into an app every six hours or i to see if a new blob has appeared on your pixelated map, than this is the app for you. Now, unless I'm horribly mistaken, checking in every once in awhile is as far as any interactivity within the "game"" is concerned. You aren't building, developing, upgrading, supervising, or playing any role whatsoever outside of choosing what settings you want (small, medium, large world and slow, medium, and fast update speed; Fast being 6 hours on a medium map). Save your dollar and go stare out of a window somewhere. You'll have more fun and see more activity.
