Ember - Capture, Organize and Share
By Realmac Software
Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Ember makes it incredibly easy to capture, organize and share the things that inspire you.
Take a photo of some typography you love, a screenshot of your favourite app, or import photos from your Camera Roll.
Build Collections of related things - how about “My Dream Kitchen” - and as you add tags and other information to your images create Smart Collections - for example “Images Tagged with “Kitchen” whose primary color is “White””. There’s hundreds of amazing ways to use Ember - make it your own, and sync it between your iPhone, iPad and Mac with iCloud.
We’re just getting started with Ember for iOS, and in future updates you’ll see some powerful new features available to purchase - however you’ll always be able to capture, organize and edit the things that inspire you for free.
Ember works best on an iCloud-enabled device, and is designed to work with Ember for Mac - available separately on the Mac App Store.

Organising your sidebar just got a whole lot easier: you can now create folders to group together your collections.
If you like Ember, we’d really appreciate a review on the App Store - and don’t forget, there’s an update to Ember for Mac that adds Folders. Check it out on the Mac App Store!
Thanks for your support!
Nice app, but no GIF support, and more $$ for IAP for extra features
I paid for the desktop app, it’s good and has gotten significantly better over time. I have no problem paying a bit more for a good mobile app, but it rubs me the wrong way that I paid $5, which is a somewhat premium price for an iOS app, and then I’m told I have to pay another $7 to unlock two features that seem like they should be included for the price of the app.
Another bummer is that there’s currently no GIF support in the app. I can import my GIFs, but can’t view them animated. I’m sure they’ll add this in the future, but seeing as that’s one of the main reasons I bought the app I’m a little bummed I’ll have to wait for the feature to be added.
I would really like it if the desktop app would create compressed versions of the files in the library, so that the mobile app wouldn’t need to download the full res images when you want to view them. It gets a little annoying waiting several seconds to view each image, but with compressed preview images of some kind this could work a lot more quickly and smoothly.
Otherwise it’s got a good clean interface, and it easy to use. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to future improvements.
I like this app, the UI is simple but very functional.
I really like how it syncs with my iPad via iCloud, I'm going to buy the in app purchases as it add to the apps functionality, but the Mac client is so expensive I'll pass, fortunately the iOS app is a standalone app and the Mac one isn't mandatory.
Best app available for creatives to organize their digital inspirations. Far and above the rest of the competition. Focused and adding new features that are well thought through.
