One of the "must-haves"!
I love perusing through this app, and it's awesome to get the lowdown on each app's price history. I use this in conjunction with AppAdvisor, AppShopper, AND AppsGoneFree. I know this might seem redundant to have multiple apps that basically do the same thing, BUT when it comes to your selection of apps, let's face it: there are SO many apps out there that it just isn't possible to "track" all of them in just one app. For example, I get notifications every day with AppsGoneFree. But they might only list up to 6 apps that have gone free. No worries, just check out THIS app also. Use AppShopper to create a Wish List if you just wanna watch an app for a while to see if the price changes or drops -- sometimes it's worth the wait also since developers are always making improvements! Regardless, these kinds of apps are invaluable to us as consumers! Apps costing .99 or even 1.99 can really add up before you know it. It's worth the effort to read reviews and track the apps you think you want BEFORE you pay for them!
A Great App for Bargain Hunters
AppPriceDrop is wonderful in helping those of us who are really averse to spending money on games or apps in general. As of this review, I have spent merely $0.99 total for apps across my iPad, iPhone and iPod. This apps has really helped me to find neat apps that are priced to go.
There is another part I like about this app as well: it introduces me to tons of new apps every day. One of the problems I have with the app store is that unless I know the name of an app (or am willing to do a google search for apps for a certain functionality), I end up seeing the same apps over and over. This app brings to light apps that I have really enjoyed, but would not have known otherwise.
As they say on the Internet: "Yo dawg, I heard you like free apps, so we put free apps in your free app so you can get free stuff while you get free stuff." ...Or, something like that. :)
What's better than FREE?
Great app! Better than many of the other apps that searches for price drops on various iPhone/iPad apps that I have. I really don't bother checking those apps anymore. They both essentially show the same apps that recently dropped in price. By far, this one is a keeper!! I just download it. If I don't want it, I can delete it. But, I don't have to ever pay if the price goes back to its original, since I basically have an inventory full of apps that I don't use but will never have to pay if I want it again. I don't have kids, but I like the fact that I can get free G rated apps for children's of any age range and they can play or read on my iPhone to keep them busy while their mom & I can talk, cook, clean ... And, when I leave - I delete and put my own personal favs back on my iPhone.
Long review, but just can't say enough good things!!
