No Apple TV app
No way to create playlists. The interface is poor. There's no way to custom sort. Just a few of the negatives about this app. But the biggest problem is the absence of an Apple TV app. This is just petty jealousy on Apple's part due to the fear that you'll watch UV instead of iTunes videos. Which is insane, since half the digital copies that come with blu-rays these days are iTunes and half are UV. We deserve the right to watch our UV videos IN ADDITION to our iTunes videos - not instead of. People aren't going to choose one exclusively when they can have BOTH. Grow up, Apple.
Still no HD or Apple TV app - Let me watch my own movies!
I can't believe there's an update for some cool features like picture in picture and 3D Touch support for the 6S, yet there's still no Apple TV app or HD support on iOS. I own these movies, let me watch them how I want. Flixster lets me watch my UV movies in HD, but it has no picture in picture which I need on my iPad. This is what happens when there's no uniformity with a platform. I wish I could just redeem all my digital movies in iTunes.
My main complaint is that when you rent a movie for a set price, you have to buy the movie at full price. It'd be nice to rent a movie, especially if you've never seen it, and be able to buy it for the difference in cost. Also, renting and buying online instead of through the app is annoying.
