Invloving game

This game is extreemly fun, please do not listen to the terrible review (the only other one besides this).
What one has to know is that every aspect of this game has to be controlled, in order to make new people one literally has to build a house, have to villagers marry, need food and such, and have to wait for the child to grow up. Then every profession has a keyrole, every character has to be equipped, and every piece of equipment has to be crafted by one who has learned a specific profession, with rescources gathered by specifized gatherers…
This game is detailed to rediculous levels. But if you are into games such as AoE or the Settlers, but crave complete control. Then this is a game for you, I find it fantastically fun, and played it when it was first released years ago, and now play it with renewed satasfaction.
Its nearly impossibe to find games that can compete with the level of development, it captivates like no other.

VERY involved

So, after reading the two reviews below, I decided to fork over the dough and give this a try. It is VERY involved. Like, VERY VERY involved.

In my opinion, this game is rough for a Mac, particularly if you're using a track pad. Right-click is a very important key.

The tutorial was ok, but the learning curve on this game seems pretty intense.

I find myself really wanting to understand and enjoy this game, but it seems like a heck of a lot of work. I keep starting the game, and then quitting after about a half hour of frustration. Not a great thing.

Overall, I'd have to say that I would not recommend this game unless you're a pretty dedicated task-manager.

worst real-time strategy ever

I would give this a minus 5 if I could! I want my money back!

It's the worst RTS I've ever played. It's completely non-intuitive! It's not a click and go like the age of empires platform!

Playing the game is like retraining your body to move after a life-threatening stroke! You know what needs to be done, but you must be patient, and go through the agonizing details of telling your people to erect signposts so they won't get lost. There are master controls and minor controls for each individual, 30 or more for actions that should be as simple as "build" or "collect". The tutorial looks like it was made by a group of 5-year olds; each giving you directions on how to control different characters.

Terrible game.
