OneTap connects you by bringing back essential functionality to your iPhone!
Speed dial has been around for years, but it is a feature that is missing from the iPhone.
Our phones have evolved over the years and so has how we interact with them. OneTap allows you to create "launchers" on your home screen to Phone, SMS, Email, Tweet and FaceTime your contacts!
Instead of having to swipe through pages and pages of apps trying to find "Phone" or "Messages" to get in touch with the same person everyday why not just have an icon specifically for them? How about a folder for them so you can quickly get a hold of them through different means? Whatever your setup, OneTap is here to connect you.
So what are you waiting for? Just two-taps is all it takes to get the app onto your device.
What's New in Version 1.0.1
Fixed crash when certain contacts were selected from the Address Book
Very nice. Just need to fix a few things
This app does it things as advertised.
There's only a couple of things I would love to see fixed:
1. The picture the app picks up from my Contacts is distorted and and I needed to specify the original picture from my photo album.
2. When placing a call using one of the shortcuts, it works like a charm. However, when the call is done, I end up inside the app (?). Please close the app automatically. It makes no sense that I would want to define a new shortcut following each call...
Great for text
Currently only used for my text messages so I don't know about the problems with making calls. I absolutely love this app. I use it to quickly text my husband. This app allows me to go directly to his text messages instead of scrolling through all of my texts from friends and family.
Very buggy, would be a great app otherwise
The process to set up a shortcut is pretty simple and straightforward. Using the shortcut is also easy and relatively painless (except for the black screen delay of a couple seconds). The problem is that the app randomly changes the icons to duplicates of other icons you have already created. I tried it multiple times and sometimes it worked, sometimes not. This app is not reliable enough to make it useful so I deleted it.
