Breaking...No, destroying what was not broken...

Been a MOG user since it's inception, and was very pleased. Now with Beats Music, Instead of listening to what you want, it wants to tell you what you should listen to... I make up playlists on the fly, based on my listening mood...One song from a particular album can remind me of another song, not necessarily from that genre, and boom,
ad it to the current list, without stopping your current song and loading the WHOLE album to the list, and trying to force you in totally different direction.

I really tried to like Beats, but it always left me frustrated...Like Pandora, that sends you music LIKE the artist you were listening to...I'm paying to listen to the artists that I'm requesting... Those that love Beats, I'm happy for them...Just not one of them...GOING TO RIDE WITH MOG TO THE BITTER END, then move on...My spouse was even asking me: "What did you do to my music, that was with MOG?" I don't like this! Maybe, when then format changes, I may give it another try, but they seem to be set on what they think their listeners should want... Oh well, good while it lasted...

Outstanding.

I love music. Sound quality is very important to me. MOG is for music lovers who appreciate high quality audio.

MOG is the answer. Forget satellite radio subscriptions. With MOG you can hear exactly what you like and discover new music as well. And if you like the new music you discover, you can play it as much as you want to play it. Hear a song you like while in a bar or restaurant? Use a music ID app and then look it up on MOG; you instantly have the song to play in your car on the way home. It's awesome.

No network access? Download the songs to your iPad or iPhone and play them even when you're disconnected. And of course you can listen over headphones, docking speakers or your home sound system using Airplay. I use MOG daily.

Two improvements I would like to see to the service: A dedicated MOG app on Apple TV would be the bomb, even though Airplay does work. And an integrated equalizer to the iPhone/iPad apps would also be fantastic.

Truly Disappointed

MOG is an amazing tool for both enjoying and appreciating music. It will significantly pad your musical catalog, crafting even the most novice of listeners into a seasoned veteran of all genres.

That being said, their recent acquisition by Beats has robbed the application of something special. Where once their was a world of music easily accessible and organic, now lies a hollow shell built to entertain the lowest common denominator. Where once there was a reliable source of discovery, now lies a mockery of human innovation.

The musical world has lost something special. Something that provided exposure to all forms in equal measure. Something the industry needed greatly...respect.
