What's New in Version 3.6.9
This small update fixes a few pesky bugs. Some customers opened the app to find a blank blue-grey screen. We like to keep our UI clean, but not THAT clean. We've fixed the problem and apologize for the inconvenience.
We've fixed a dialog formatting bug that prevented some users from subscribing as Paper Patrons. We’ve also fixed the overlapping canvas buttons on iPhone 4/5/SE devices.

Half-Hearted app that Half-Dazzles
5 years later I'm much disappointed with the aimless direction this app took. Now added a paywall to make ends meet.
So much feels half-hearted attempts to dazzle. And I am half-heartedly dazzled, but this app never realized its potential.
I have switched to real paper and pencil. So much more versatile and not limited by apps or devices.

Pros:
Kind of Klunky but writing is good.
Cons:
feels like not quite ready for prime time. Almost, but hoping for a killer first update, otherwise way overpriced as is. Needs a lot more than a nice story behind it.
Needs undo button, better memory, (I tried to rewind, but book closed. When I opened & finally rewound, would not rewind. )
Needs wrist rest. Uncomfortable to keep wrist off of iPad whole writing.
Needs zoom. Can't enlarge page to create detailed drawing.
Pen skips sometimes using Wacom bamboo stylus, but not really sure what is causing that.
I might buy the essential pack to support the devs, and keep my fingers crossed for further updates.
Has potential. Should reconsider pricing, though.
Are there more colors than on purchase screen?
There are so many other apps that work very well to draw with, this seems a bit anemic to charge so much.
