Original Match-3 Concept, Great Game, no Fullscreen option
When I first saw this I couldn't help but think, "Great, another Bejeweled rip-off…", but I couldn't have been more wrong. While the objective remains the same as any match-3 game, the fact that each block moves ONLY in the direction that it would on a Chess board changes the gameplay entirely and adds a new dimension of strategy to the match-3 concept. There are 4 game modes, all very unique, with one based on speed and the other modes requiring much more strategy and thought; this is not a game that that tests your reflexes but it does test your mind. The only reason I didn't rate this 5 stars is because of the visual presentation, the graphics are decent but look like they could use a little more shine for the OSX, they work fine for the IOS version but look like they were not improved at all for this OSX release. They fact that there is no fullscreen option and that you can only play in a window roughly the size of an IPad screen says it all. Other then that this is an amazing game, built on a foundation of Bejeweled, with the mechanics of Chess, and the spirit of Solitaire.
Multiple ways to enjoy
I just adore this game. i downloaded it not too long ago and am in love. It combines bejeweled, but it adds in Chess moves and a variety of ways to play. I am not a chess expert (in fact I am beginner/intermediate level as I don't have a lot of people to play with), but this gives you practice without needing anyone to play with and I'm hooked. I will be definitely getting this for my Ipad as well.
Interesting Revision of Match 3
I found the chess moves easy to relate to, but hard to grasp initially for a match 3. When the movements "clicked" I found the game completely enjoyable and relaxing. Thanks for the free download!!
