Welcome to the ultimate virtual cadaver dissection experience! McGraw-Hill’s Anatomy & Physiology REVEALED® app will enhance your learning of the human form and its function.
There are two versions: a full version for $49.99 and a single-module version with in app purchasing of more content for $12.99.
This version contains access to all the modules:
• Skeletal and Muscular systems
• Nervous system
• Cardiovascular, Lymphatic & Respiratory systems
• Integumentary, Digestive, Urinary, Reproductive & Endocrine systems
• Body Orientation, Tissues, and Cells & Chemistry
Dissection: Human cadaver photographs blended together with a state-of-the-art layering technique let you peel away layers of the human body to reveal more than 5,000 anatomical structures.
Histology: Explore interactive slides to learn microscopy anatomy of cells tissues.
Imaging: Correlate dissected human anatomy with quality histology and radiologic images to explore tissues. Labeled X-ray, MRI and CT images help you visualize internal structures using imaging techniques often encountered in clinical settings.
Videos: High quality videos and animations clarify anatomical relationships or explain key physiological processes. The videos demonstrate muscle actions, joint movements, and anatomical relationships, and the animations integrate physiologic function. After viewing an anatomical structure on a cadaver, you can immediately view a related video.
Quizzing: Gauge proficiency by testing your ability to identify anatomical structures.
Search: The Anatomy & Physiology REVEALED® app features a search engine to instantly locate a listing of dissections, animations, radiological images, and self-test content related to that term.
Pronunciation: Audio pronunciations build anatomical knowledge.
Notes: Create print and audio notes to personalize the content.
Bookmarks: Bookmark sections for future reference.

More than I wanted
I am a student that was having a little trouble with anatomy and looked for something for my ipad that could help me with the upcoming physiology course I need to take. I was a little hesitant before buying this app because of its ludicrous price, but I couldn't be happier with it.
All I wanted was something that could point out various parts within the human body such as blood vessels and arteries, the various nerves that spread out from the spinal column, etc. Upon buying this app, I found that it had that and much more! It was amazing to see that it didn't just point to the structures, but highlighted the entire thing. Along with that, it gives a great description next to it.
Since it points everything out on a live cadaver (irony, I know), I can see where exactly I need to look when looking into a specimen.
Finally, I am very happy with the videos it has. So much information is put on the videos relating to the system that I am looking into.
Even though I would have loved to have the ability rotate the cadaver, I can't expect to have everything I hope for. Regardless, it still deserves the 5 stars.
For the amount... I expected more
I downloaded this to study for my cadaver lab practicals and also as a reference. I like that you can view the structures on a cadaver to simulate being in lab. However, there are a few things that I hope we would get with a future upgrade that would make this app worthwhile. First, the ability to click on a structure and have it identified. Second, the ability to rotate views. Third, although the videos are useful, maybe more videos using a cadaver or skeletal/muscular view. Lastly, the ability to pick subjects for the quizzing section. If you only need to be quizzed on identifying muscles, ligaments, tendons, and vessels, I don't want to be quizzed on histology, muscle insertions or physiology subjects. If these concerns are addressed, then this app would definitely be 5 stars and worth the money.
Great Supplement for Anatomy
Despite the high costs, this was worth it in my opinion. I was a subscriber in the past on the web based version but that was a two year subscription. Now that has run out and I purchased this app for my iPad; it is better than the web based version with more detail and I like the added features that weren't in the 2.0 version. For those pre-meds where a GPA is important, I recommend this app as a supplement. $50 is worth it to me to secure that A. This can help in cell biology but is limited in that respect, however, it will help one excel in the human biology and anatomy classes. It highlights parts in the images and gives an option to take a picture clip to add to the cameral roll.
