MY BRAIN ASPLODE!
This game has touched neurons I have never before used. Maybe it even created those neurons?!
When I'm controlling the 2nd gauge, my brain and fingers are doing things that I do not understand. I'm not even really involved. I'm just watching, slack-jawed as the craziness unfolds.
It takes a very peculiar kind of genius/insanity to create so wildly entertaining an experience from something so incredibly simple. Amazing.
Quickly becomes dull.
While it is nice to see the old-school computer references inside the game, gauge unfortunately becomes dull quickly because of its simple gameplay where you must keep a line from touching either edges of the bar while keeping it in a specific zone in order to gain the most points, but all it becomes it's just tapping the screen over and over and over again. The game does become harder as you gain more points but unfortunately, it's always the same thing; tapping the screen over and over again. Simplistic, yes. Addictive, unfortunately for me, no.
Really great addictive game, but I could only justify buying the full version if it were optimized for the iPhone 5 and only $.99 $3 seems too expensive for this simplistic and un-updated game.
